From experimentation to something that holds up

Most Johannesburg teams we speak to have already tried something. Someone set up a ChatGPT account, a few people use it, and there is a vague sense that more should be happening. What is missing is not enthusiasm — it is a decision about which process is worth automating first, and what good looks like when it is done.

Our work starts with that decision. We audit where time actually goes, rank the candidates by frequency and cost of error, and only then build.

What gets built

Everything is built into the systems you already run, so your team does not have to learn another tool or another login.

  • Support assistants grounded in your own documentation, with a defined point at which they hand over to a human.
  • Document extraction for invoices, supplier notes and forms into your accounting or operations system.
  • Quoting and estimating assistance drafted from your own historical pricing, reviewed before it is sent.
  • Internal search across policies, contracts and past projects.
  • Scheduled summarisation and reporting from data you already collect.

The uncomfortable part

A large share of AI projects we are asked about should not be built. If a process is undefined, a wrong answer is expensive to detect, or the task happens twice a year, automation will cost more than it returns. We will tell you that during the audit, before you have spent money on a build.

Questions

AI enablement in Johannesburg, answered.

Will this work with our existing tools?

That is the design constraint. We integrate with the systems your team already uses rather than replacing them. If a new subscription is genuinely required, we will say why and what it costs.

Is our data safe?

We discuss this explicitly during the audit. It covers which data may leave your systems, under what agreement, what is retained, and which processes must stay on infrastructure you control. For sensitive workflows we scope on-premise or private deployments.

What does an AI readiness audit cost?

It is a fixed fee quoted after an intro call, based on how many processes and systems are in scope. You get a written findings document and a ranked opportunity list whether or not you proceed to a build.

Can you train our team?

Yes. Enablement is part of every engagement: working sessions with the people who will actually use the tool, short internal guidance, and handover of the prompt library and integrations.
